Throughout this course you will gain an in-depth knowledge into the world of Music Technology. Working in our in-house recording studio & venue alongside a professional music producer, you will have access to a huge range of industry standard facilities and networks throughout the North West and further afield. Producing real bands within our studio will provide you with endless opportunities to develop your CV and employability skills having the real-life work experience elements built into your creative course.
Not only will you have the opportunity to develop your recording and production skills, you will also delve into the work of live sound engineering - regularly working in live venues as a front of house sound engineer, monitor engineer, lighting technician or part of a set up crew. You will be able to hone your skills as an engineer and producer in live sound and gain employability skills within the live sound and music production sector.
The music industry has grown rapidly alongside the creative and digital industry, with social media, film and games industry contributing to the fastest growing areas. Within this course you will learn to compose music using MIDI sequencing and production to be able to gain work in the entertainment industries or as a freelance musician. Your music and production skills will provide you with an endless list of opportunities in the creative and Digital sector; from working at festivals to film companies and more.
