Starting September 2025, our PEM 1 College site will introduce an inspiring new Creative Enterprise programme that brings together Work Experience and Preparation for Adulthood.

At the heart of PEM1 will be a dedicated TMP performance space and pop-up shop. 

Throughout the year, students will plan and host a range of events, giving them the chance to share their work and achievements with family, peers and the wider community. Alongside these larger showcases, smaller community events will run regularly, offering even more opportunities for learners to build confidence, develop social skills and welcome visitors into the college.

This Creative Enterprise programme will transform the PEM1 site into a vibrant hub of learning, creativity and community engagement. 

By combining meaningful work experience, enterprise projects and real-world interaction, we aim to equip every learner with the skills, independence and self-belief they need to thrive beyond college.

Our aim is to have a green outdoor sensory space which is welcoming for our learners. We intend to encourage new habitats within our surrounding college areas. We want our outdoor spaces to offer educational opportunities for our creative young people.

From those who love photography, to those wanting to grow produce, such as herbs and tomatoes, we want our surroundings to reflect our efforts to contribute to sustainability.

We acknowledge that this will develop over time, and that our learners and staff will contribute to what will become a relaxing outdoor space, with bird tables and flowers to encourage wildlife.
